New author announced for Journal of Financial Compliance Volume 1 Number 3

iSignthis and Henry Stewart Publications are pleased to announce that N J (John) Karantzis will feature as an author in the forthcoming issue of Journal of Financial Compliance, the essential peer-reviewed, professional journal for compliance professionals.

John Karantzis is the founder and Managing Director/CEO of Australian Securities and Frankfurt Stock Exchange listed iSignthis Ltd (ASX : ISX | DE : TA8). John has over 20 years’ experience across a number of sectors including payments, online media, antimoney laundering (AML), defence and secure communications. In particular, John’s experience includes the application of technology to assist with remote enhanced due diligence across a number of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) legislative model jurisdictions.

John’s paper in the third issue of the Journal – ‘Interaction of RegTech with EU privacy, AML and payments regimes’ – focuses on the interaction of RegTech with regulated sector business, how RegTech can be used to meet some of the more challenging aspects of regulatory regimes and potential solutions to some of the newly imposed customer-centric regulatory requirements.

Carole Bovard appointed to Editorial Board of Journal of Financial Compliance                

OCC and Henry Stewart Publications are pleased to announce the appointment of Carole Bovard to the Editorial Board of Journal of Financial Compliance, the essential new peer-reviewed, professional journal for compliance professionals.

Carole Bovard has served as First Vice President of The Options Clearing Corporation since March 2012. Bovard also served for 9 years as Partner and General Counsel for Lind-Waldock & Company and has served as the General Counsel to several entities involved in the futures brokerage and private equity business as well as counsel to several businesses involved in healthcare and education.
