The Editor, Editorial Board and Publisher of Advances in Online Education – A Peer-Reviewed Journal invite papers for the issues planned for the new volume, Volume 2.
Advances in Online Education: A Peer-Reviewed Journal is the major free-to-view journal publishing best practice articles as well as applied research and analysis on virtual, distance, online, blended, self-directed and e-learning in a variety of technology-enhanced educational settings.
Guided by its independent Editorial Board and published quarterly, Advances in Online Education: A Peer-Reviewed Journal adopts an interdisciplinary approach and provides a peer-reviewed forum for

All articles that go forward for review in Advances in Online Education: A Peer-Reviewed Journal benefit from a double-blind peer review process. The journal has no article processing charges (APCs) and no article submission charges. Advances in Online Education: A Peer-Reviewed Journal does not solicit advertising or publish advertorial.
Submission guidelines:
The deadline for the submission of articles to this special issue is April 14th, 2023.
The following types of articles will be considered for publication:
- Practice articles: Thought pieces, briefings, best practice articles, case studies and other contributions written by practitioners. Articles should be 2,000 to 5,000 words in length.
- Research papers: Contributions which explore new models, theories and research in online education. Articles should be up to 6,000 words in length.
- Review articles: Review articles and comments should be in the region of 1,500-3,000 words.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure that they are of direct, practical relevance to those working in the field.
